Adding Copilot to Your Desktop App
Want to unlock Copilot in the desktop app? Here’s how:
Go to the Start Menu on your Windows 10/11 device.
Search for "Copilot" in your apps.
Look for the snazzy new M365 logo—a rainbow icon with bold white text on a black background.
When you open the app, you’ll see three options:
‘Skip for now’ — Won’t add Copilot now but may remind you later.
‘Do not add’ — No Copilot for you (until you change your mind).
‘Add Copilot’ — Boom! Copilot Chat and agent access unlocked.
Pro Tip: Teams and Outlook may take a little longer to sync your new Copilot features than the desktop app—just be patient, it’s worth it!
